Night Out Against Crime

Date: Tue, Oct. 15, 2013 October 15, 2013

This evening, SilenceIsViolence brings our annual Night Out Against Crime block party to our new home on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard. The event will take place beginning at 5pm and will feature live music, drumming for peace (led by our Peace Music Clinics students), games, food and drinks, and public safety resources.

We are thrilled to be collaborating with many partners, old and new--including Families and Friends of Louisiana's Incarcerated Children, Juvenile Justice Project of Louisiana, Safe Streets Strong Communities, Cafe Reconcile, CeaseFire, and Ashe Cultural Arts Center.

Please join us in the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard between 5 and 8pm on October 15 to be a part of our community-led campaign for peace in New Orleans. Call the SilenceIsViolence office at 948-0917 for more information.
