REMEMBERING MAGNOLIA SHORTY & SPEAKING OUT AGAINST THE VIOLENCE
Candlelight Vigil

WHEN: Friday, December 24 · 6:00pm - 9:00PM
WHERE:   PELLERIN HALL: 3717 Ulloa St New Orleans, La 70118

The city of New Orleans is in a crisis!!! The violence continues to impact the communities we all live in. As time goes by lives are lost, families and friends are grieving, and we still have no solution to the problem. Renetta Lowe “Magnolia Shorty” was gunned down on Monday afternoon; she was another victim of violence, another statistic. When does it end?  How we can stop this familiar cycle from repeating itself?  Placing people in jail and increasing the visibility of police officers does not solve the problem.  We need a new approach to attack the violence in this city.  We continue to scratch the surface but we need to get to the root of the problem. Stand up! Speak Out! No More Violence.

We have to start now “Enough is Enough”.
